Arkanic isn't very tall, to say the least. He somehow missed the memo that his height is off by a foot or so, and so he remains about five feet tall. His skin is slightly tanned, but too much, so that you have to look carefully to notice. His arms are graced with a menagerie of black, delicately intricate tattoos. These tattoos seem to follow no rhyme or reason, they just look like a nice pattern. His face has one sparkling gold tattoo that seems to dance around his eyes and barely kiss his cheeks. His hair, as mentioned before, is mainly dusky black, but has some bright gold streaks in it.

- Black and gold have to be the two favorite colors. You can always see his work based on the usage of mainly just black and gold.
- Tattoos are a must-have! The way the delicately grace the skin as a permanent reminder of who you are and what you did...it just entrances him.
- Patterns are everywhere, but only a master stylist (such as he) can see them. And he loves it. The delicate style of a winter snowflake, the beauty of an ancient stained glass window with spiderweb cracks in it...he tries to replicate a pattern whenever he sees one.
| [bg=111111]DISLIKES » | [bg=0F0F0F]- Bright colors are a no-no. The brightest thing he uses is his signature gold.
- Anything asymettrical looks just awful to him, and he must have everything he makes in a symmetrical pattern. Down to the last thread.
- Bloodshed isn't one of his favorite things. Why would you bleed and ruin whatever you were wearing?
| [bg=111111]STRENGTHS » | [bg=0F0F0F]- He can turn a blank white dress into a dark masterpiece in a day or two.
- He's intelligent and a quick thinker.
- He knows how to use a blowdart gun, and use it well.
| [bg=111111]WEAKNESSES » | [bg=0F0F0F]- He gives into peer pressure.
- He panics if he's up against an actual threat.
- He tends to get distracted after a while, but only if he isn't doing what he loves.

Though you'd think Arkanic, or as he so commonly likes to be called, Kane, would simply adore what he does and the Hunger Games and everything else that the Capitol citizens are known to love. Not the case. Though Kane does have a tendency to give in to peer pressure, this does prove that he wants to do something other than what everybody else is doing in the first place. Truth is, he doesn't like the Hunger Games all that much. It isn't like he despises it, but every time he sees a poor kid out there in the muck, he just imagines them in their ceremonial outfits, and that just makes him...disappointed. He hates the stereotype that he's supposed to love bright colors; what's so wrong with black, anyway? Though, he really can't get over putting in a splash of gold here, a stripe there, and before he knows it, he's got a perfectly symmetrical work of art.
He does love styling, though. Why become a stylist if you don't like styling? Though his mind likes to wander off into space, he'll spend a day or two completely focused on the task at hand; that is, if the task at hand is designing a beautiful piece of clothing! He's very quick-minded, and uses this to think of what the audience might enjoy, not what he would. Though, he'd rather create something that he loved and everyone else hated, like I said, he does give in to peer pressure. He loves tattoos to bits, though, and symmetrical patterns too. Perhaps this is why he adorned himself with perfectly symmetrical pattern tattoos of black and gold coloring? Yes, that's probably it.
He is normally a docile, if not abused, soul, but if he is angry, his quiet little voice doesn't seem quite so little. He's gone on many a rant if something enrages him enough to raise his voice, and he seems perfectly capable of doing it again. But he doesn't enjoy it. As he says, it's nice to be nice!

Kane was not born in the Capitol. Kane was born in one of the districts (he doesn't remember) and then dumped in a military adoption agency in District Two. After growing up abused and tormented for his height, he became quite a silent fellow, and the local 'friendly' militia took advantage of this, and signed him up as a Peacekeeper the minute he turned eighteen; literally, they dragged him out during his party.
As a Peacekeeper, Kane didn't have much to do except bully the districts, so of course, he was sent to Twelve, the poorest one, because, as a rookie, and a polite one at that, he didn't really know how to bully, and in Twelve, he wouldn't have to. He made a quiet living. He used his blowdart gun (the only thing that he was allowed to use as a rookie), and soon, it didn't look too scary to the Twelve people. He didn't hurt them. They didn't bother him. Life was good.
Until, of course, he was suddenly and abruptly 'adopted' by two Capitol parents, and sent to the Capitol to get away from the 'savages of District Twelve'. Truth was, he missed Twelve just a bit, but he mostly gave into the peer pressure, and his feelings changed to an uncaring kindness.
Growing up in the Capitol changed him. He became used to the lavishness of it, the feeling of the fabric on his skin. He got quite a few tattoos, some black, some bright gold, but all were patterned and very intricate. And, from the moment that he made his mother a beauteous gold-and-black party dress, his adopted parents knew that his destiny was to be a stylist, with all the fabric he'd ever need. As always, Kane gave into peer pressure, and went with his 'chosen' dream, and learned the ways of the stylist.
Now, he has finally reached his dream, and tries as hard as he can just to be good. But not too hard; he wouldn't want to stand out in the mob of his Capitol peers.
